Holidays Act Remediation Payment Application for Former Employees

Compass Group NZ has undergone an independent audit process driven by an experienced 3rd party, Integrity1 and in co-operation with the Labour Inspector from Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE) and have undergone a recalculation of all Annual Leave and BAPS (Bereavement Leave, Alternative Holiday, Public Holiday & Sick leave) payments to ensure they were in accordance with the Holidays Act. 

The result of this exercise shows that some former employees may be entitled to an additional payment.

The period covered was from 26th October 2009 for all former Compass Group NZ employees.

Following the recalculation, we have engaged Integrity1 to help manage the process around contacting and processing any potential backpay entitlements to former employees of Compass Group NZ.
