Holidays Act Remediation Payment Application for Former Employees
NZ Steel and Pacific Steel have recently undergone an independent audit process driven by an experienced 3rd party, Integrity1 and in co-operation with the Labour Inspector to ensure compliance with the Holidays Act.
Following the audit, Integrity1 were engaged to recalculate Annual Leave payments and balances in weeks, in accordance with the Holidays Act.
This involved a complete recalculation of all payments and balances since 12 September 2012 for NZ Steel employees or 30 June 2014 for Pacific Steel employees and comparing that against what was initially paid and their leave balances.
